Gorgeous little ring, and the stone feels secure in the setting. Exactly what I wanted. I have a number of others of the same style but in a larger size but wanted midi rings. My experience has been that midi rings with stones tend not to be great quality, and the stones often fall out of the setting, but I've bought earrings and rings from this artist in the past, and you can tell the quality here is much higher. She does really beautiful work.
This was one of a set of ten very similar rings; I'm just going to copy and paste the same review for each one, because I don't have different things to say, sorry! This ring is exactly what I wanted. I bought some earrings from the artist last year and liked them so much that, when I bought a backup of my favourite, I decided I'd also like to have matching rings so that I can actually see the opals. The rings are absolutely beautiful, and the pictures don't do the stones justice; you really need to see them in the light to fully appreciate them. They're perfect for stacking, and the colours all go together very well, so the combinations are infinite. The rings also seem very well made. The artist is also great; she's very communicative, the rings were packaged very securely, and she even gave me a present!
